Create ETS projects from Excel tables
EI_Import creates an ETS5 project from a csv list of actuators and circuits. The list can easily be created with Excel or a text editor.
The generated project contains all required group addresses, the building structure and the actuators. It can be further processed with ETS5 or EIplan5.
a circuit with group addresses for all required functions is generated off each line in the table. These are then connected to a channel on a suitable actuator.
Push-button sensors and room temperature controllers can also be specified in table rows.
The EI_Import app offers a predefined group address scheme (3-part) and generates a standard building structure from the table.
For lighting, sockets, blinds and room temperature control, the EI_Import automatically generates group addresses with meaningful names such as "Living room_Ceiling lamp".
A preferred KNX device can be selected from the ETS catalog for each device type. These sample devices can now be parameterized. If further devices of this type are required, EI_Import generates them automatically and also copies the preset parameters.
The table can be created outside the ETS with Excel or directly in EI_Import. EI_Import makes the creation of ETS projects without a floor plan easier and more efficient than ever before.
New from version 2:
The preset sample devices are now compatible with EiPlan and can be created with EI_Import. Visu files from EiPlan and EiPlan-outside can now also be imported. When importing, preset sample devices from EiPlan and virtual sample devices from Eiplan-outside can be converted into KNX manufacturer devices.
